Del Rèbene – Carmenère Wine Berici Hills DOC 2019
Description
Carmenère was confused with Cabernet Franc for many years. Since 2009 it has been recognized as DOC Carmenère Colli Berici.
Here in San Gottardo at 300 meters above sea level, the Carmenère grapes reach full maturity, giving the most characteristic aromas of the vine.
Organoleptic Notes
With a clear garnet color, it has a thick and deep texture with a vivid nail that denotes the ability to evolve over the years.
Dry and pulpy, it offers a pleasant austere sensation that finds a virile trait in the impact with the fine and mature tannin.
Pairings
Red meats (beef and lamb), game, cured meats and cheeses.
Longevity : over 10 years
Winemaking
The Carmenère grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts for two weeks.
Refinement
The wine obtained was aged for over eighteen months in vitrified cement tanks and then bottled in our cellar.
