The Carmenère 2020 reflects the character of an exceptionally warm and dry vintage. The vineyard benefits from an ideal south-facing exposure, characterized by natural ventilation and significant temperature variations. These conditions allowed for the production of perfectly ripened grapes while preserving a high level of acidity.
Vibrant notes of raspberry emerge accompanied by delicate hints of herbes and
spices typical of the variety. The wine is juicy, with a simple and pleasantly
harmonious drinkability.

The hand-harvested grapes are immediately destemmed and transferred into the
barrels by gravity.
Subsequently, thanks to the inoculation of the “pied de cuve” prepared with our grapes, fermentation occurs spontaneously and continues for approximately 10 days in vitrified concrete tanks, accompanied by daily pump-overs and punch-downs.
After racking and pressing, the wine was transferred and aged for over 15 months in vitrified concrete tanks and finally bottled in our winery.
