Placing an order through the website implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which the Customer is invited to read carefully before proceeding with the purchase.
These terms apply to purchases made by consumers and, where compatible, by professional customers or VAT-registered clients. “Consumer” means any natural person who purchases for purposes unrelated to any business, commercial, craft, or professional activity they may carry out.
1. Subject of the Contract
Del Rebene sells extra virgin olive oil online.
The contract covers the sale of products selected by the Customer through the website, according to the procedures set out in these General Terms, in the product pages, in the cart, and during checkout.
2. Information on Food Products
The main characteristics of the products are indicated on the respective product page of the website.
The minimum shelf life, expiry date, and batch number, where applicable, are shown on the label of the delivered product.
Product images on the website are for illustrative purposes only. The packaging, label, or graphic layout of the product may vary without altering the essential characteristics of the purchased product.
3. Prices
All prices shown on the website are expressed in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
Shipping costs, any additional charges, and the total order amount are shown in the cart and on the checkout page before the order is submitted.
Del Rebene reserves the right to change prices at any time. Such changes do not apply to orders already confirmed.
In the event of an obvious error in the price or characteristics of a product, Del Rebene may cancel the order, promptly informing the Customer and refunding any amount already paid.
4. Purchase Procedure and Conclusion of the Contract
To purchase products, the Customer must select the desired items, add them to the cart, fill in the required billing and shipping details, choose the payment method, and confirm the order.
Before confirming, the Customer can review the order summary and correct any input errors.
The order submitted by the Customer constitutes a purchase proposal. The contract is deemed concluded when Del Rebene sends the Customer an order confirmation to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
The order confirmation contains a summary of the purchased products, the price, delivery costs, the chosen payment method, and the main applicable conditions.
Del Rebene reserves the right not to accept, or to cancel, an order in the event of product unavailability, incomplete or incorrect data, non-payment, suspected fraudulent use of payment methods, or a material error regarding the product or price.
5. Product Availability
Products are sold subject to stock availability.
If one or more ordered products are unavailable, Del Rebene will inform the Customer and may propose one of the following solutions:
6. Payment Methods
The Customer may pay using the methods available on the website at the time of purchase, such as credit card, PayPal, or other means indicated at checkout.
Payment must be completed according to the instructions provided during the purchase process.
If payment authorization fails or the transaction is unsuccessful, the order cannot be processed.
Del Rebene does not store the complete details of the payment instruments used by the Customer, which are processed by the respective payment service providers in accordance with their terms and privacy policies.
7. Invoicing
For online purchases, the tax document required by applicable regulations is issued.
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided for invoicing. Any requests to amend tax data must be communicated promptly and can only be accepted within the limits allowed by tax regulations.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Del Rebene ships products to the address provided by the Customer during the purchase process.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on destination, product availability, time of year, and courier operations.
Unless otherwise indicated, delivery takes place within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract.
In the event of significant delay, Del Rebene will inform the Customer and, where provided by law, the Customer may set a reasonable additional deadline for delivery. If this further deadline is also not met, the Customer may terminate the contract and obtain a refund of the amounts paid.
Delivery is made at street level (ground floor), unless different arrangements are offered by the courier or separately agreed.
9. Checking Products upon Delivery
Upon delivery, the Customer is asked to check that the package is intact, undamaged, not wet, and not tampered with.
In the event of visible damage to the packaging, the Customer is invited to accept the parcel with a specific reservation, noting the type of damage found, or to refuse delivery.
The Customer is also invited to report any damage, breakage, or anomalies within a reasonable time, attaching photographs of the package and the products received where possible.
These provisions do not in any way limit the rights granted to the Consumer under the legal guarantee of conformity.
10. Transfer of Risk and Ownership
The risk of loss or damage to the products transfers to the Customer at the moment the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
If the Customer chooses a carrier other than those proposed by Del Rebene, the risk transfers to the Customer upon delivery of the goods to the chosen carrier.
Ownership of the products transfers to the Customer upon full payment of the price.
11. Right of Withdrawal
The Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the day on which the products are received.
In the case of separate delivery of multiple products ordered as a single order, the period runs from the day the Consumer receives the last product.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must inform Del Rebene of their decision by means of an explicit statement sent by email to:
info@delrebene.it
The communication must include at least:
Alternatively, the Consumer may complete the digital form available under “Request Withdrawal,” found at the bottom of every page on the website.
Following submission of the request, Del Rebene will send the Consumer, without undue delay, an acknowledgment of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g., by email), containing the content of the withdrawal statement and the date and time it was sent.
The right of withdrawal is considered to have been exercised in a timely manner if the statement is sent by the Consumer before the expiry of the 14-day period set by applicable law.
12. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is excluded in the cases provided for by Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code.
In particular, for the type of products sold on the website, withdrawal does not apply, among others, in the following cases:
For hygiene, health, and food-safety reasons, food products that have been opened, altered, used, are missing their original seal (where applicable), or have not been stored correctly cannot be returned, except in the case of a lack of conformity.
13. Return Procedure
If the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, the Consumer must return the products within 14 days from the date on which withdrawal was communicated.
Products must be shipped to:
Del Rebene s.s.a. – Via Bertoldi, 25 – 36020 Zovencedo (VI), ITALY
The Consumer is liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
The direct costs of returning the products are borne by the Consumer, unless otherwise indicated or agreed with Del Rebene.
The Customer is asked to carefully pack the products being returned, particularly in the case of bottles, jars, or fragile packaging.
14. Refund in the Event of Withdrawal
In the event of valid withdrawal, Del Rebene will refund all payments received from the Consumer, including standard delivery costs incurred to receive the order.
Any additional costs resulting from the choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard method offered by Del Rebene will not be refunded.
The refund will be made within 14 days from the day Del Rebene was informed of the Consumer’s decision to withdraw from the contract.
Del Rebene may withhold the refund until the returned products have been received, or until the Consumer has provided proof of having shipped them back, whichever comes first.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Consumer for the initial transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed, and at no additional cost to the Consumer.
15. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
All products sold to Consumers are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by the Italian Consumer Code.
Del Rebene is liable to the Consumer for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the goods and which becomes apparent within the periods set by law.
In the event of a defective, non-conforming, damaged product, or one different from what was ordered, the Consumer may contact Del Rebene at:
info@delrebene.it
indicating the order number, the problem encountered, and, if possible, attaching photographs of the product, the label, the batch, and the packaging.
In the presence of a lack of conformity, the Consumer is entitled to the remedies provided by law, including, where applicable, restoration of conformity, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the contract.
The legal guarantee does not cover defects or damage resulting from improper use, incorrect storage, tampering, accidental damage, or causes not attributable to Del Rebene.
For food products, the Customer remains obliged to comply with the storage instructions indicated on the label or product page.
16. Complaints and Customer Service
For assistance requests, complaints, or information about orders, shipments, returns, or products, the Customer may contact Del Rebene at:

17. Promotions, Discount Codes, and Free Gifts
Any promotions, offers, discount codes, or free gift products are valid within the limits indicated on the website and while stocks last.
Promotions cannot be combined with one another, unless otherwise indicated.
Del Rebene reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate promotions and offers, without prejudice to orders already confirmed.
Any free gift products included in an order are subject to the same rules applicable to purchased products, where compatible.
18. Customer’s Obligations
The Customer undertakes to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration, purchase, and billing or shipping requests.
It is prohibited to enter false, incomplete, fictitious data, or data referring to third parties without authorization.
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address provided. Any costs resulting from errors in the data provided may be charged to the Customer, within the limits permitted by law.
Purchases through the website are permitted only to persons of legal age or otherwise possessing the capacity to validly enter into a contract.
19. Communications
Communications relating to the order, shipment, payment, withdrawal, assistance, and performance of the contract will be sent to the email address provided by the Customer.
The use of email for communications necessary for the performance of the contract does not imply automatic subscription to newsletters or promotional communications.
Commercial or promotional communications will only be sent in the cases and manner provided for by applicable regulations and the website’s privacy policy.
20. Processing of Personal Data
The Customer’s personal data is processed by Del Rebene for purposes related to order management, payment, shipping, invoicing, customer service, and legal obligations.
For more information on the processing of personal data, the Customer is invited to consult the Privacy Policy available on the website.
21. Limitation of Liability
Del Rebene is not liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure events, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond its control and not attributable to Del Rebene, such as, by way of example, strikes, exceptional weather events, natural disasters, transport blockages, unavailability of payment services, or technical issues not dependent on Del Rebene.
The Consumer’s non-waivable rights recognized by applicable law remain unaffected in any case.
No provision of these General Terms limits or excludes Del Rebene’s liability in cases of willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or other cases in which liability cannot be excluded or limited by law.
22. Governing Law
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the contracts concluded through the website are governed by Italian law.
For matters not expressly covered, the provisions of the Italian Civil Code, the Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 70/2003 on electronic commerce, and other applicable regulations shall apply.
23. Competent Court and Dispute Resolution
For disputes with Consumer Customers, the competent court is that of the Consumer’s place of residence or domicile, if located within Italian territory.
For disputes with Customers who do not qualify as Consumers, the Court of Vicenza shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
The Consumer may also make use of the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms provided for by applicable regulations.
24. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Del Rebene reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time.
Amendments will take effect from the moment of publication on the website and will apply to orders placed after such publication.
The Customer is invited to save or print a copy of the terms applicable at the time of purchase.
