Description
Carmenére Reserve 2020 is the result of a season characterized by a warm but also dry and very windy climate. This allowed us to harvest grapes at the right point of ripeness, rich in flavor and with freshness given by acidity.
After 30 months of aging in steel tanks, the wine was bottled in our cellar.

Organoleptic Notes
This wine opens with an alluring nose of fruity notes of blackberries and cherries, accompanied by a delicate hint of violet.
A pleasant touch of dry herbaceous is present, giving way to intense spicy nuances such as black pepper, cinnamon, cloves,
and bitter cocoa. Additionally, a sophisticated leather note emerges, along with a balsamic finish.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with excellent retroolfactory correspondence that confirms the balance perceived on the nose. In the glass it reveals itself to be constantly evolving.
Pairings
Mature cheeses, especially sheep’s or goat’s cheese, Pasta e Fagioli alla Vicentina, dishes based on grilled meats, grilled vegetables or legumes.
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation of pied de cuve in steel tanks. In detail, after destemming the grapes, the inoculation with the pied de cuve took place and the fermentation was followed with daily pumping over and punching down.
Racking, pressing and decanting in steel tanks where the wine was refined for 30 months before being bottled, in our cellar.
